I am a patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic caregiver. I have experience working as a preschool teacher, where I found my calling in Special Education. Currently, I am pursuing my Master's degree in SpEd at Drexel. My program is remote and asynchronous, so, though the work is very time consuming, my schedule is quite flexible. When working with kids, I focus on play-based learning to keep them engaged and enriched. At my previous school I lead the after school arts program, so I love planning/improvising crafts and games using the toys and materials available. I do not have a car, but am very comfortable walking long distances with a stroller or chaparoning children on public transit to take them to the playground, museums, etc.

Jay is an incredible caregiver and role model for our young kids (4yo and 2yo)! They have been looking after our kids regularly for the last year, and always have creative ideas for play as well as effective techniques for managing behavior. Prior to babysitting, Jay was our eldest’s preschool teacher for two years. The bond Jay formed with our son is so sweet, and demonstrates their ability to see kids for who they truly are and to make them feel special. I trust Jay fully and would recommend their babysitting services to any family.
