I started interning at a child care center when I was 16. I was also taking classes at the time to earn my Early Childhood Professional Certificate, a Florida State recognized certification for working in childcare. From there, I began working as a co-lead teacher in a 1-year-old room. Upon moving to Wisconsin, I quickly found a job as a co-lead infant teacher. I love the little ones! Infants grow so much during the first year, it is crucial to understand how they develop in order to best support their ever-changing needs. Read, read, read! In the childcare setting, we can always tell when a child is read to at home! Reading with your children is so important for their language and literacy development! I love to read to the children. I am a responsible and dependable young man, I have years of experience managing an infant classroom with a wide variety of schedules. The main takeaway I have is, "we run on baby time!" I have experience with bottle refusal and latch difficulties.
