About Jaquelin

I am a recent UCSD graduate currently working as an enrichment specialist in elementary schools. I support students in 1st-6th grade with ELA and math, using approved curricula while presenting lessons in engaging ways. I am passionate about working with children and plan to continue pursuing a career in child development. As I work toward this goal, I am gaining hands-on experience supporting students through tutoring. This may include helping with homework, building test-taking strategies, strengthening foundational skills, or introducing new material to help students get ahead. As a recent student, I understand how important support outside the classroom is for academic success and long-term educational goals. I earned my degree in Biology, which allows me to assist students in a wide range of subjects, including math, chemistry, and physics. I am also fluent in Spanish and enjoy working with students who are learning English as a second language.
