About Wendy

Hello! My name is Wendy, and I bring over 20 years of experience working in special education and supporting students with diverse learning needs. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Child Development and have extensive experience working with elementary-aged students in both classroom and one-on-one settings. My areas of expertise include Math, English Language Arts, reading comprehension, writing, and academic skill development. I am passionate about helping students build confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and achieve their academic goals through patient, individualized instruction. In addition to core academic subjects, I have experience tutoring Spanish language learners, helping students develop vocabulary, conversation skills, grammar, pronunciation, and overall language proficiency. I strive to create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, trying new challenges, and celebrating their progress.
