Hello there! I'm Giselle, a young professional working in mission driven organizations with a Master's in Urban and Regional Planning and 7+ years of experience tutoring Spanish, English language, and literature. I'm especially skilled at helping students strengthen focus, organization, and study habits - the foundational skills that make every subject easier. My approach blends academic support with care, structure, and accountability. I also bring certified coaching experience, which helps students set goals, stay motivated, and navigate college applications or college level coursework. I'm here to support your student with clarity, encouragement, and a personalized plan that helps them thrive.
Most recent review
Can’t recommend Giselle enough for anyone who is trying to improve their child’s grades. Although it’s the beginning of the school year, my son has started to show signs of difficulty in reading. His teacher called me saying he hasn’t read any of the required reading assignments and that he is starting to fall behind the rest of the class. Giselle has helped him catch up and bring up his test and participation scores. It’s his first year in high school so trust me when I say that these are the years my son won’t get left behind. Giselle also informed me she teaches other subjects and I’m hoping to save more money to afford her 3 times a week.
