About Angelica

Hi! I'm Angelica, a private tutor with 9+ years of experience helping students build confidence and improve academic performance. I've worked with 200+ students from elementary through high school, supporting a wide range of learning styles and needs. I hold a B. A. from UC Berkeley and an MBA from UCLA Anderson, and I specialize in making challenging concepts clear, approachable, and manageable. My focus is on helping students truly understand material-not just memorize it-while also building strong study habits and independence. I offer support in English, writing, reading comprehension, math, homework help, test prep (SAT/ACT/PSAT), and college application essays. I also provide academic coaching in organization, time management, and study skills. I offer both in-person and online sessions in the Los Angeles area. My goal is to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel confident, capable, and motivated to succeed.
