About Zachary

I'm passionate about helping students unlock their potential. With a graduate degree and five years of experience, I'm a certified teacher skilled in supporting students through Math, English, Business, Study Skills, and History at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. I am also familiar with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504). My tutoring approach centers on building confidence and fostering a love for learning. I vary my teaching strategies and celebrate small successes to keep students motivated and engaged. Communication is key, so I provide regular updates to parents to create a collaborative environment. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of my work. I'm comfortable tutoring at your home, a center, online, the library, a community center, school, or a coffee shop. I have a car and am comfortable around pets.
