About Janique

Hey! I'm Janique. I'm a creative sitter and former art teacher who loves working with kids of all ages. For two years, I taught art at three different schools, running classes and teaching every grade level. It taught me a lot about patience, structure, and how to make learning and waiting fun. I'm a Capricorn with a Virgo Moon and Leo Rising so I'm pretty organized and reliable, but I also bring a lot of warmth and imagination to what I do. Kids usually feel comfortable around me fast because I know how to keep things calm but also playful. In my spare time, I like to read, draw, journal, and design. One thing you should know about me is that I value both structure and fun. I know what it's like to not always feel seen or understood as a kid, so I make it a point to create a space where children feel free to be themselves.
