I love being a sitter because I truly enjoy helping kids learn, grow, and feel cared for in a fun, safe environment. I'm naturally patient, creative, and empathetic, and I love creating calm, structured spaces where kids can feel comfortable and have fun. My background as a Direct Support Professional taught me how to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and handle responsibilities with care -- all skills that carry over into childcare. I've also cared for younger relatives and family friends' children, helping with meals, playtime, homework, and bedtime routines. I enjoy planning age-appropriate activities and keeping things organized and smooth. I'm trained in direct care, de-escalation, and active listening, and I'm CPR and First Aid certified.
