About Janie

I currently work full time as a Behavioral Health Specialist for Children's Hospital and seeking to help families with as needed childcare. For the past six years, I've dedicated myself to providing enriching care for children of all ages, from toddlers to teens. I hold a college degree and work in child psychology. My experience includes First Aid Training, CPR Training, 5 years behavioral health and I am a Certified Nursing Assistant. I am patient, friendly, and adept at creating a safe and stimulating environment. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games, always tailoring activities to a child's individual needs and interests. I communicate with parents using their preferred method, offering verbal updates and regular texts or calls. I am happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, and swimming supervision (I was life guard in high school! I am currently working evenings so availability is contingent but open!
