Hi! My name is Markia, and I've spent the past 3 years working with children at Children's Hospital. I have hands-on experience supporting kids with developmental delays, autism, and other special needs. I truly enjoy creating a safe, engaging, and caring environment for every child. I'm passionate, patient, and committed to helping each child thrive in their own unique way. I like working with kids because they bring so much joy into a room. They are always unapologetically themselves, which fosters an environment that's perfect for learning and growing. I started working with kids when I got my current job a Children's Hospital 3 years ago. I work as a behavioral health specialist In my spare time, I enjoy reading, crochet and spending time outside.
