About Jamie

Hi, I'm Jamie. I am an acute care Speech-Language Pathologist looking to gain extra hours working as a companion/caregiver. I currently work in the acute care hospital setting working with people post stroke, brain injury, surgery, infection, etc who developed speech, language, cognitive, and/or swallowing difficulties as a result of their affliction. I am well-versed in monitoring heart rate, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation. I am also excellent with medication management and can even help with pill swallowing issues. I love working with this population and thought I could put my skills to good use in other settings helping out families and their loved ones.
