I've been a caregiver for many years, specifically for people who have been diagnosed with Alzheimers/Dementia. I was a PCA in an assisted living facility with the majority of my time there being spent in the memory care unit. I acquired my CNA license in 2019 and worked for a short time in a nursing home, as well. I fully understand the need for nursing homes and assisted living, but if it's at all possible, in home care is the way to go. I love what I do, and I truly believe I've found my calling. I'm experienced in medication management, toileting/incontinent care, assisting with hygiene/showering, dressing, friendly reminders, cooking/cleaning, companionship, activities, and running errands. I also have experience with end of life care.

I am happy to provide an enthusiastic endorsement for Jaimie. Jaime was with us for over two years as a caregiver for my father who has Parkinson's Syndrome and my mom who had Alzheimer's Disease. She stayed with us until Mom passed in July. Jaime is not only compassionate but she is exceedingly skilled. Mother could be difficult, and Jaimie was always a calming presence. She had a way of getting Mom to take her medicines that was amazing. She was constantly present and engaged Mom without over stimulating her or causing her to be agitated. She recognized and reported issues of concern promptly. Once Mom was no longer ambulatory Jamie demonstrated great turning and transferring technique. Jaime has been a blessing and just what we needed from the time she joined us when both of my parents were still going on outings until they both passed. I have every confidence in her skill and know she will exceed all expectations of her future care families.
