About Jacqueline

I am a Neural Engineering student at the University of Illinois. I have worked with kids for five years now as a gymnastics coach and babysitter. Some of the greatest takeaways from these experiences is how to engage the children, be patient if they are struggling with something, as well as be understanding and flexible if something goes unexpectedly. In my spare time, I like to be active playing pickleball, going on hikes, and bike rides with friends. I also like expressing my creativity with stained glass, sewing, and baking. My skills include mathematics, science, and writing. Having finished all of Calculus as well as Differential Equations, I am confident in my ability to break down difficult concepts into manageable topics. In regard to science, I have become well versed in chemistry, physics, and environmental science. Lastly, I have written many essays in my academic career that have resulted in much success, including one that won the 2023 UIUC Rhetoric Competition.
