About Huyen

Hi, I'm Huyen. I'm a mother of three wonderful kids, and much of my life has been dedicated to teaching and caring for children. I taught my own kids reading, writing, and core skills before they entered school, and every summer I homeschooled them to feel confident for the grade ahead. I also ran an at-home daycare for over 15 years, supporting neighborhood children with early learning, school subjects, and homework. Hence, I've worked with children of all ages, learning styles, and personalities. I believe every child has unique potential and learns best with patience, encouragement, and personalized support. I create a warm, engaging environment where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow. As a mother and caregiver, I truly believe it takes a village to help children thrive. If you hire me, I will teach your child with the same love, attention, and dedication I gave my own, always adapting my approach to what works best for them - and for you.
