Hi! I am seeking a nanny/ child care position for the summer of 2024. I have. M. Ed. in counselor education from UVA, and plan to build a career as a school counselor. My experience with child care is extensive, and includes working with kiddos aging from infancy to adolescence (long term & short term). I lived in Colorado for years working in a school as an educational mental health worker and learning loss interventionist. During this time I was a nanny for an amazing family & am grateful to still be a part of their lives after 7 years ( the oldest is now 8 and youngest is 6!) I have experience with diverse family dynamics and populations & I respect that every family has different values and needs. I am genuine, openminded, dedicated, creative, and kindhearted. Hilary was a nanny one day per week for my daughter from January through May. She was prompt in arrival, and took great care of our toddler. She helped in the transition from crawling to walking, and to introduce new foods. They spent a lot of time outside, and had lots of giggles. The only reason she is not still with us is because we needed a greater commitment,(more days per week) and Hilary was not able to commit to the days we needed. Very friendly and loving!
