About Helen

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With four years of experience as a Certified teacher, I specialize in helping elementary and middle school students master Math, English, Science, and study skills. I believe every student possesses unique strengths, so I prioritize building confidence over simple memorization. By observing how you interact with new material, I adapt my approach using visual aids, hands-on activities, or real-world examples to ensure concepts truly click. I maintain open communication with families to foster a collaborative, supportive environment where progress is celebrated. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or a local coffee shop, I am committed to making learning an engaging and rewarding journey. Seeing that spark of understanding is why I love what I do, and I look forward to helping you succeed.
