Empowering students to reach their full potential through personalized support has been my professional focus as a Learning Specialist for over 20 years. As a certified teacher with a graduate degree, I specialize in Reading Intervention, Written Expression, Math Skills Reinforcement, Test Preparation and Study Skills. I am also highly experienced in reviewing and integrating Individual Education Plans (IEP) and Student Accommodation Plans (504). My approach centers on creating a patient, engaging environment where I adapt my methods based on the learning style of each student. By encouraging goal setting and celebrating milestones, I help build the confidence necessary for academic success. I believe open communication with families is essential to our collaborative progress.
