About Heather

I have experience in a group home environment as well as a private home (with a senior I met in the group home). I desire to create an atmosphere of peace and compassion for a person in the last part of their life. I was a nanny for 8 years which is the other end of the life cycle. The elderly have so much wisdom to impart if we would just slow down and listen. Providing a senior with dignity and companionship is so very rewarding. My grandmother lived to be 95 and our family all pitched in to help care for her so she could remain in her home. I want to help another family have that luxury as well. No one should have to worry that their mom or dad, grandma or grandpa is safe and happy ! I would be happy to do wash, run errands and fix uncomplicated meals ( I am not a good cook)!
