About Hayley

I am a teacher with Central Valley School District in Spokane Valley. I hold bachelor's degrees in Sociology and English Literature and a master's degree in Teaching, with certification for kindergarten through eighth grade. I am available to tutor all subjects, but excell in teaching reading and math. My years as a Special Education teacher's assistant have taught me how to guide students with all levels of ability. I am First Aid and CPR certified and comfortable tutoring students with special needs, behavior support, and trauma-informed care. I enjoy planning educational and fun activities, including board games, arts and crafts, reading, and hands-on learning. As a mom of two middle and high school boys, very little rattles me! I am patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoy helping children feel safe, respected, and engaged in learning. I am available weekdays until school starts and weekends beginning August 24.
