About Jemma

As this past school year ended abruptly in person, I started offering virtual tutoring lessons in reading to students who were struggling. In addition, I also offered my services of assessing students' reading abilities for concerned parents who weren't quite sure how their child's reading skills were impacted by the early closures of schools. I have tutored students in K-3rd grade with focuses in comprehension, fluency, sight words, beginning reading, etc. I am a patient and engaging tutor who thoroughly enjoys enhancing the reading ability of all students. During the school year I am a 2nd grade teacher as well. Currently I am primarily doing virtual tutoring via video call for those in and out of state. I look forward to working with you!
