As an educator, I'm passionate about unlocking each student's unique potential through personalized support. I have a Master's in AYA Education from Ohio University and three years of experience teaching for the State of Ohio through the Cleveland Catholic Diocese. I also hold the ODE Science of Reading K-12 Endorsement for Literacy. I vary my teaching strategies, like visual aids and hands-on activities, and encourage open communication to best suit your learning style. I can help with English, Math, Music & Theatre Ed, Study Skills, and History. I break down complex problems into manageable steps, connecting topics to real-world examples. Open communication is essential for understanding student needs and building trust. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring.
