About Tolulope

Hello, I am currently a senior at Case Western Reserve University, a top 40 university based in Cleveland, Ohio. My major is International Studies with minors in English, Business, and Ethnic Studies. I have had the opportunity to intern with two Fortune 500 companies as well as two non-profit institutions. I am a firm believer in giving back to my community. I began volunteer tutoring in high school with the Sisters of Charity. Serving others was instilled in me and ever since then, I have tutored elementary to middle school aged students. My approach as a tutor is to provide one-on-one attention and support that many students do not receive in school, to engage with students on a personal level and use what I learn to help them learn easier, and to help students realize the bigger picture of what doors learning (whether it's how to round or how to express themselves clearly and concisely in an essay) can open up for them. I believe the first step to this is for the student to discover how he or she learns best. From there, it only gets easier.
