About Luna

Hello, my name is Luna and I am a first grade teacher! I have worked in education for six years as a preschool teacher, homeschool teacher, and elementary school teacher (1st, 5th, and 6th). I received my teaching license in Vermont and am in the process of transferring it to Ohio. I have taught students of all ages pk-6 but specialize in first grade education. I believe that education should be student centered so I always build my lessons around the child I am working with. This means using student interests and strengths to meet rigorous academic goals. I am extremely willing to meet the needs of your family and have experience with outdoor education, arts based education, and early literacy.
