About Hannah

In high school, I tutored students at the local middle school in math and earth sciences. As time an undergraduate, I was a mentor for an 8th grader, assisting him with study skills, projects, homework, and other academic strategies roughly 2 hours a week. I also supervised study hall at that time. While working for Portland public schools, I was an educational assistant at an elementary school, working daily with students in small groups for testing and reading. I also worked after school as an instructor for homework club. In Portland, I was an academic mentor at multiple high schools. I worked with primarily upperclassmen in receiving their core credits for graduation in a blended classroom/online program. I now tutor mostly math and language arts at a tutoring center.
