About Haley

Hello, my name is Haley and I am an archaeologist! Although, I have 10 years of experience in tutoring and education. I have taught US history, global history, and civics at the high school level and I am familiar with AP and IB history class material. I am patient, encouraging, and am excited to help your student catch up, get ahead, or prep for exams! I'd describe my personality as kind, patient, understanding. My favorite part of tutoring is being able to witness the moment that a student finally understands something that they've been struggling with. I started tutoring when I was a sophomore in high school. My first client was an elementary school student that I found on care. com. In my spare time, I like to read, hike, and craft. One thing you should know about me is I will always show up for your students. My skills include communication, subject matter proficiency, adaptability.
