About Guisselle

Hi! I'm Guisselle, and I have several years of experience working directly with children and teens in school, after-school, and academic support settings. I've worked with students from elementary through high school, including students who need a little extra patience, structure, or encouragement to feel confident academically. I can help with homework, reading comprehension, writing, English, social studies, organization, and study skills. I'm patient and understand that every child learns differently, so I take the time to figure out what works for them instead of just giving them the answer. I want students to actually understand what they're learning and feel more confident doing it on their own. I'm dependable, easy to communicate with, and comfortable keeping parents updated on their child's progress. Most importantly, I want your child to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning without feeling judged or pressured.
