About Nora

I'm passionate about helping students build confidence and improve their skills. I work primarily with middle school and high school students. My background in mental health counseling allows me to approach tutoring with patience, encouragement, and an understanding that every student learns differently. I focus not only on improving academic performance but also on helping students feel more confident in their abilities. Many students struggle with self-doubt or test anxiety, and I work to create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace. I help students break down complex texts, organize their thoughts for essays, strengthen critical thinking skills, and develop strategies that make studying and test-taking more manageable. My goal is always to help students leave each session feeling more capable, prepared, and confident in their academic work.
