About Grace

My name is Grace, and I am a caring and experienced caregiver and tutor with 7 years of teaching experience. This includes 3 years teaching kindergarten and 4 years teaching first grade (which I currently teach at a public charter school). I also have a background in babysitting and leading outdoor trips for teens, so I am comfortable with children of all ages. I specialize in reading instruction aligned with the Science of Reading and hold a LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling) certification. I'm passionate about helping children build strong literacy skills in a fun and engaging way that sets them on the path to being lifelong readers and learners. I am experienced in and comfortable tutoring for all subject areas for elementary age learners. I am interested in both babysitting and tutoring, and look forward to connecting to see how I can support your family's needs!
