About Genevieve

Hi! I'm Genevieve, a college student studying to become an SLP with a minor in secondary education. I've been working in childcare for the past 4 years. I'm passionate about helping support children's development. My experiences have taught me how to create a fun and safe environment for every child. I have experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder and Pitt-Hopkins syndrome, which has taught me the importance of adaptability and patience to ensure that each child's needs and abilities are supported in an engaging and respectful way. I'm CPR and First Aid certified. My studies have helped me gain a stronger understanding of how children learn and grow, and the importance of being a clear and adaptable communicator. I value open communication and supporting children's growth through learning and play. I'm patient, friendly, and always down for a fun board game or craft!
