About genesis

I started tutoring when I was only 16 years old during COVID, I traveled to a students house and worked on many math concepts. It was an incredible opportunity to help a student understand a concept in a tangible and personable way as a break from the screen. In my spare time, I like to serve in my church community! I work with 6th grade girls, it's an honor to watch them grow into young adults and be a part of the process. One thing you should know about me is I love math! This is why I teach math, I read about math, and i'm always looking for practical ways to bring real life experiences and mathematical concepts together to give a lesson meaning. My skills include patience, thorough explanation, and encouragement.
