I'd describe my personality as fun, dedicated and warm When I was a child I struggled with a learning disability. If it weren't for my tutors I may never have gotten the opportunity to attended NYU and become a college graduate. This is what has motivated me to pursue tutoring as an adult. I'm looking for a job that allows me to connect with a student in a way that makes learning fun and easily digestible. I started tutoring when I was a freshman in college working with children at the local theater. In my spare time, I like to hang out with friends, watch movies and go for long walks along the Hudson. One thing you should know about me is I love to laugh and connect with people. My skills include approaching elementary school math in numerous ways to help make the concepts comprehensible for the students, as well as an advanced understanding of Music Theory and the ability to discuss and interpret various works of fiction.
