About Fiona

Hi! My name is Fiona and I've been working with children since my freshman year of high school. I attended a technical school enrolled in a program for students wishing to pursue early childhood education. I had the opportunity to co-teach in a preschool, creating and teaching my own lesson plans. I recently graduated from UVM with a BA in psychology and human and family science. During that time, I interned in a Head Start preschool, where I now currently work as a preschool teachers associate, co-teaching in a classroom of 16 3-5-year-olds. I also have many years of babysitting experience across ages. These experiences and education have taught me the importance of creating a safe, nurturing, developmentally supportive environment where children can thrive. I have first-aid training and am CPR-certified. I love reading, doing arts and crafts, and playing pretend with the kids I work with. I love pets and can help with feeding/walking and assist with light cooking/cleaning.
