I am an energetic and compassionate nanny with a Bachelor's degree in neuroscience and my North Carolina nursing assistant certification. Since college, I have been working as a public school substitute teacher, a certified nursing assistant in inpatient neurosurgery, and as a nanny! During college, I worked as a numeracy and literacy tutor for 3-7th graders and as a physics tutor at my college. Prior to college, I worked for a family of six, starting as a mother's helper and moving up to full-time summer nanny. I am currently taking a prerequisite class to apply to physician assistant school this fall so I am looking to work morning classes until mid-July. Fiona babysat for my two children in the afternoons all last fall. She is patient (she can play about 20 games of Uno in a row), caring (she knit the kids beautiful hats) and very creative (they played all kinds of games and used lots of art supplies). Having a Waldorf background is a great plus- Fiona really understands basic child development and how to connect with kids. And, of course, she's very responsible!
