About Janna

I was raised in the childcare industry as my mom had both preschool and after school companies. I started out babysitting my siblings before sitting and tutoring for families. In high school I became a preschool sub and went to Uganda to bring the phonetics curriculum to teachers there. As an adult I was a preschool teacher and after school teacher. I started nannying for multiple families, including those with special medical needs and strict protocol. The majority of my infant expertise comes from my experience with my oldest daughter who was born with a rare genetic syndrome. Due to her special needs, I had the opportunity to work with a variety of specialists, doctors and therapists to ensure the best care. I've learned skills and techniques surrounding milestones. I do love making families feel comfortable and providing a caring environment for children. Right now I am seeking a position that allows me to bring my 5-month-old with me as a tag along.
