About Finley

My name is Finley, and I'm a rising junior at Vanderbilt studying Music Ed with a minor in Special Ed. I am also on the board of Vandy Alliance on Disabilities and Conditions, a student group. I'm passionate about working with anyone who needs support. I've lived with my grandmother my whole life and supported her for years in activities of daily living, including: mobility + walker/cane usage, making the house more accessible, appointments, and helping with errands + housekeeping. I also have paid experience as a caretaker for special needs. This is where I learned more about: toileting, accessible showering, adaptive exercise, feeding/mealtime/choking safety, and communicating with people with cognitive difficulties. I am a very patient person who loves working with people. I'm also looking for a part-time job during the school year. Please let me know if you think I might be a helpful addition to your team!
