About Erika

I got a B. S. in biology, and I have a minor in economics from the University of Florida. I am currently pursuing my Masters of Public Health at the University of Michigan. I worked with kids and elderly adults both in the past and currently. I like tutoring because I love seeing the progress and improvements from kids. It's rewarding whenever kids feel happy about themselves and happy about their growth. I'm looking for a job that is reliable and trustworthy, when communication is open and well established. I started tutoring when I was 16 as a reading tutor through the Mayors Youth at work program in Jacksonville, Florida. I continued to tutor reading, and also picked up tutoring in math. In my spare time, I like to run, do workout classes, read, play guitar, socialize, and travel I've worked with kids to adults, at all stages of life. I've worked in the NICU for a little bit as a volunteer and also hospice, so I have a wide range of life that I've interacted with.
