About Erika

I found my way into caregiving when a past landlord in Boulder and I stayed friends for 15 years. When my elderly friend became bedbound, she asked me to be her caregiver. I learned as we went along and I helped her for almost 2 years until she passed. I have assisted 2 clients since, suffering from dementia. Bathing, dressing, toileting assistance, errands, and walks are some of the things I can help with. Helping and being a good friend to share time with, is what I strive for in my relationships with clients. As for mobility assistance, I can not do full transfersr without a second person. Hoyer lifts are not enough, for the work that comes before and after the transfer itself. Also, I am CPR and First Aid trained. I have some college education at CU Boulder 95'-97'.
