Hello, I am a full time high school English and reading teacher looking to earn a bit in my spare time. My cat (Dennis) and I offer companionship for seniors who need a furry pick-me-up. While at the home, I can help with meds, but will mostly be socializing and supervising pet-client interactions. I used to volunteer at the local nursing home with my golden retrievers and found it to be fulfilling. My orange tabby cat (Dennis) is very social and is hoping to continue this visitation legacy. Dennis is getting certified as a therapy cat through Fairfax Pets on Wheels. He passed his temperament test and we are now waiting for a mentor to work with us at our chosen assisted living facility. Dennis is happy to visit private homes as well. We offer companionship for older pet lovers who need a little boost of orange happiness in their day.
