During college I worked as senior citizen companion and a Certified Nursing Assistant at a nursing home and absolutely loved working with the elderly population. I now have a full-time, 9-5 job in the non-profit sector, but miss working with the elderly. I hold myself to a high standard of care (professional, compassionate, timely, efficient), but I believe companionship is one of the greatest things that we can offer those who find themselves isolated in their old age.
