About Emma

As someone who grew up as a visual and slow learner in the classroom, my techniques when tutoring are highly adaptable to the pace and confidence of the student. With 4 years in experience of tutoring Algebra 1 and 2, middle school English, and athletic activities, I have gained insight on different ages of students ranging from 8-16-year-olds. A few of my teaching tactics include visual representations and short activities to maintain focus while encouraging participation and feedback from the student throughout. I also believe it it's important to track progress and consistently check up on improvement or steady progression.
