Hi, I'm Emma! I'm a Certified Nursing Assistant and Nursing student located in Seattle (future Pediatrics). I'm looking for occasional/part time work starting in June. I love continuing to work with families in this setting as I continue my education. Over 12 years of childcare experience, with experience as a nanny, lead teacher, doing professional travel/overnight care, newborn/PP care, & infant pt. I have extensive experience with infants, newborns, multiples, specialized in child development and the first 10 years. I believe curiosity is a great learning tool, and love to do creative and athletic activities whenever possible! I am a calm person that values communication, safety, learning, and fun. I'm an active person with a background in gymnastics (10+ years). I believe play time is as important as structure. When not in class, I enjoy the outdoors as much as possible! CPR certified. Can provide proof of immunizations if needed. If we seem like a good fit feel free to reach out!

We hired Emma as a summer nanny for our two boys, ages 1 and 3. She was amazing. She had the boys on a routine after only a couple of days, with two naps for our 1-year old and one nap for our 3-year old--even though we ourselves often struggle getting them to nap! The best thing about Emma was how much she invested in the long-term development of our boys even though we only worked with her for a short time. For example, she taught Danny how to put on his shoes and socks by himself, and even though it took him a long time she was always patient and his biggest cheerleader when he did it by himself. She also was wonderful with potty training--showing him how to do everything himself including washing his hands, etc. At the end of every day she would tell us stories about the fun things they did and cute/funny stories; it's clear she really loves children and brings so much joy and energy to their time for them.I can't say enough good things about Emma. Would hire her again in a second!
