About Emma

Experience: 10 yrs

Hi! I'm Emma. I'm a nurse and have been a pediatric family consultant for over a decade. My background is in child development and psychology, and I specialize in privately hired pediatric care, postpartum care, infant development/physical therapy support, & family education. I'm an RN ABSN specializing in Pediatrics in Seattle, and have extensive experience with infants, newborns, preemies, multiples, and postpartum. I'm available for occasional/recurring similar hire in Seattle through 2025, as I love continuing to work with families in this setting! I value comfort, communication, safety, learning, and fun. I believe play time is as important as structure, and that you deserve the best care for yourself and your family. When not studying, I enjoy the outdoors as much as possible! Fully CPR/BLS certified and vaccinated. Proof of immunizations on request. If we seem like a good fit please do reach out and I'd be happy to chat about the care you're looking for!

We hired Emma as a summer nanny for our two boys, ages 1 and 3. She was amazing. She had the boys on a routine after only a couple of days, with two naps for our 1-year old and one nap for our 3-year old--even though we ourselves often struggle getting them to nap! The best thing about Emma was how much she invested in the long-term development of our boys even though we only worked with her for a short time. For example, she taught Danny how to put on his shoes and socks by himself, and even though it took him a long time she was always patient and his biggest cheerleader when he did it by himself. She also was wonderful with potty training--showing him how to do everything himself including washing his hands, etc. At the end of every day she would tell us stories about the fun things they did and cute/funny stories; it's clear she really loves children and brings so much joy and energy to their time for them.I can't say enough good things about Emma. Would hire her again in a second!
