About Emily

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. By utilizing visual aids, hands-on activities, and interactive discussions, I adapt my methods to suit your child's unique learning style. I prioritize open communication with both students and parents to ensure we are always working toward clear, achievable goals. Whether we are tackling math, science, or study skills, I celebrate every small success to keep motivation high. I hold CPR training and First Aid certifications to ensure a safe environment during our sessions at your home or the library. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new concepts is the most rewarding part of my work. I truly look forward to partnering with your family to help your student thrive.
