About Emily

The bulk of my experience comes from taking care of my late grandmother, who sadly passed earlier this year at the age of 95. While we lived far apart, I cleaned her house and cooked us food anytime I visited and when she was feeling up to it, would take her out for a ride around in my car and even out to eat if she was feeling up to it. Throughout the pandemic (and for many years prior to that), we talked almost daily. We had a close relationship and I know how much isolation, especially during the pandemic, can affect the elderly. I know it meant a lot to my grandmother to receive even phone calls just to have someone to talk to and get a break from watching the TV and as part of honoring her memory, I would like to be able to try to offer some comfort to someone else now. *Am fully vaccinated
