About Emily

Hi! I'm Emily I am 22, and I'm passionate about caring for and connecting with children. I have over eight years of experience working with kids through summer camps, volunteer programs, and private childcare. I believe in creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and feel confident being themselves. I've worked as a camp counselor for multiple summers, caring for children ages 5 months -14yr. I planned and led engaging activities, handled daily routines, and made sure each child felt supported and encouraged. I'm also CPR/First Aid certified and comfortable with light housekeeping, homework help, and preparing meals. I recently graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, where I was a Division 1 athlete. My background in sports has helped me develop strong leadership skills, responsibility, and patience. I'm dependable, upbeat, and love keeping kids active-whether that's playing outside, doing crafts, or coming up with creative games indoors.
