About Emily

Hi, I'm Emily! I'm a former middle school science teacher with a bachelor's degree in Math and Science Education and a master's degree in Digital Age Learning and Educational Technology. I have experience teaching, tutoring, and supporting students with a wide range of learning styles, confidence levels, and academic needs. I especially enjoy helping students feel less overwhelmed and more confident in what they're learning. My teaching background has helped me break down difficult concepts in a clear, approachable way while keeping sessions encouraging and engaging. I'm patient, organized, and flexible, and I always try to meet students where they are. I can support students with homework help, study skills, test preparation, organization, and subject-specific tutoring. My goal is to help students not only improve academically, but also feel more capable and confident as learners.
