About Miriam

Hi! My name is Miriam, and I'm a rising junior at Smith College studying Math and Journalism while also pursuing my teaching licensure. I have worked with students ages 5-16 in a variety of academic settings, helping with everything from math and English to coding and science. I've worked with children in educational settings for more than four years and have been formally tutoring for about a year. I love helping students reach their full potential through personalized, engaging instruction. I strive to create a patient, supportive environment where learning feels fun and concepts are broken into manageable steps that build confidence. I also have extensive experience working with neurodivergent students and enjoy adapting my teaching style to meet each child's unique needs. There's nothing better than seeing a concept finally click! I'm happy to work in your home, online, or in another location that best suits your family.
