About Emily

Hi there! My name is Emily, thank you for visiting my profile. I am happy to help your children with math, reading, and study tips. I graduated in the top 10% of my class at Babson College where I concentrated in Business Analytics. I love math and teaching younger kids about the subject, as I know first hand how daunting learning math can be. I have been working with kids for 8 years, and one of my favorite things about working with kids is seeing them finally understand a problem they were confused about. As a tutor, I am upbeat, encouraging, and patient. I think it's important for kids to learn how to do problems on their own as I help them along the way when they get stuck. I am also an avid reader, and I love helping children with reading as well. I generally help with homework and test prep, but I can provide additional worksheets upon request.
