About Emily

I have grown up in a family of five brothers and five sisters. Taking care of young children is and always has been a huge part of my life, and it is a part of my life that I love. When I was eight I remember changing the diapers of my youngest sister. When I was 14 I remember carrying around my first newborn nephew. Consoling him while he cried, put him down for naps, and giving him baths. As the number of nieces and nephews grew in my family, so did my love for being around children and helping the parents of those children. I found that I love helping keep the house in order while I was around. Doing dishes, cooking dinner, doing laundry, all while entertaining kids was something that made me feel good. I have first aid and CPR training, and almost a lifetime of child care experience. Also a great enforcer of "sorry, no screen time!" As I have my own 3-year-old daughter now. I'm just wanting to try and make some money while also hanging out with kiddos :)
