About Sophia

I'd describe my personality as kind, adventurous, and funny. I like working with kids because they offer a unique perspective; such as adding novelty and joy to mundane things. It's amazing to watch them develop their personalities and beliefs, and to remember what that was like. I started working with kids when I was 15. My first experience was at a Christian horse camp for 8 weeks. I worked with ages 7-16. They loved me reading to them and singing. In my spare time, I like to surf, go on hikes, play beach volleyball, attend Bible studies, and hang out with friends. I'm a very outdoor centered person, and enjoy staying active. One thing you should know about me is that I will do my best at each and every task/responsibility given to me. I will extend love and care to each child in a way I hope to give my own someday. My skills include basic care, homework help, and entertaining with games and fun activities. I can cook, clean, take care of plants and pets, drive, and more.
